Winter Driving ExperienceJanuary 22, 2015 | Herndon, Virginia -- Audi will bring the excitement of its Winter Driving Experience to the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado. From February 3-14, participants will have the opportunity to drive the Audi S3, Q3 and allroad and work with Audi instructors on mastering a variety of skills beneficial for driving during the winter months, and experience the power of quattro® all-wheel drive. The driving experience will be hosted in Nottingham Park in Avon, Colorado.

Under the professional guidance of Audi instructors, drivers will participate in two unique drive activities that will send their hearts pounding. Participants will be able to test their winter driving techniques in an Audi S3 on a slalom course and a slick skid pad, challenging their car control ability and while learning the qualities of the S3 and quattro® all-wheel drive. They then experience an agilities course in the new Q3 and allroad. This specially developed course offers challenging off-road obstacles that highlight the unique capabilities of the Q3 and allroad in a unique experience.

The driving experience program will also be the first event to use Avon’s  Performance Pavilion in Nottingham Park. Drivers will be within walking distance of the Main Street Mall where Après Avon- a Street Fair of Music, Tastings, and Spontaneity will take place each evening after the races   from 2:00-5:30 p.m.  Après Avon will be an outdoor, tented event with live music, performance art, food, craft brews and distilled tastings, as well host athlete signings, author meet and greets, visits by the 2015 mascots, and American–rooted activities.
